The staff is in hospitality business and cant do that one thing right. I had the best experience in Japan and all my other stays except this one. A few issues: 1. The booking explicitly says Water, but i got water only on day 1 of my 4 day booking. They said it’s only welcome drink. I then asked, where can i fill my water bottles? They said No. they said please buy water. 2. The cleaning services in 4 days was only done properly on last day and was not done the remaining days. Im a clean person and it was kept the way I left it. I had to explicitly ask for coffee sachet refills. 3. I asked the staff for some salt ( needed it for health reasons as I was alil unwell) and they denied me salt. Bearing in mind, The hotel has a full fledge restaurant and microwave and they couldnt give me a pinch of salt. Will not let this hotel ruin my experience and hospitality Japan has to offer, but definitely not going to stay in this chain of hotels again.

Kyoto has thousands of temples and shrines, including the spectacular golden Kinkaku-ji, Ryoanji with its Zen garden, the popular Kiyomizu-dera, Sanjusangendo with its life-size statues of Kannon and the more tranquil Tenryu-ji in Arashiyama. Also in Arashiyama, there is the famous Bamboo Grove. A wonderful thing to do in Kyoto is a walking tour of Gion, one of the main Geisha districts. Its wooden buildings and lamps create the perfect ambiance. Kyoto is one of the greatest historical cities in the world, filled with temples, shrines, teahouses and imperial residences. Kyoto is a city steeped in culture and heritage it’s a must for anyone with an interest in Japanese history and culture.
